When a student needs to leave the classroom, type their name into the search box. LeaveLens displays only the students you are currently teaching. Select the student and press enter to instantly record the exit time.
Teachers can switch between displaying their classes or all classes to exit students they are not currently teaching.
Once the student returns, log them back in quickly. This can be done retrospectively. Simply click their name from the live feed of students currently out of class to return them to their lesson.
At the end of each lesson, student exits are automatically cleared. If a teacher fails to return a student to class, the record is kept visible but not counted in tracked time analytics.
LeaveLens uses exit and re-entry times to calculate lost learning time per day, week, term, semester or year. This data is available for analysis by administration, year coordinators, parents and teachers while preserving student privacy.
