This Privacy Policy applies to all personal information collected by "Vman Software" via the website located at leavelens.com.au.

    The personal information that we collect is provided by the account holder or nominated administrator to provide a service. The personal information which is collected and required for operation of this service require staff and student information limited to:

    • full name,
    • sex,
    • email address,
    • timetabled lessons, and
    • school identifer.

    Generated data captured by end-users include:

    • lesson exit date/time,
    • lesson entry date/time,
    • subject names, and
    • username

    Additional generated analytics related to use of the product, capture personal information such as:

    • IP address,
    • browser client,
    • username, and
    • school identifiers

  3. How we collect personal information

    1. We collect personal information provided by the account holder or nominated administrator at the time data is created or uploaded into the website.

    2. We also collect cookies from your computer to track your usage of the website and to help customise your website experience. These cookies retain data to help identify and validate your credentials and access levels within the service.

    3. We use Azure Application Insights to collect and analyse application telemetry data, which may include personal data such as IP addresses and email addresses (user details). This data helps us monitor and improve the performance and stability of our application.

    4. We utilise internal logging to capture service access and requests, including capturing date, time, IP address, and user details where appropriate.

    5. All personal information, platform data, subprocessor data, and logging data are stored and located in Australia and are not shared, sold or accessible to any outside vendor or third-party.

  4. Purpose of collection

    1. The purpose for which we require personal information is to provide the account holder and service users with the best experience possible on the leavelens.com.au website. The details provided for each individual are used to assist in tracking and identification by the account holder and users, and is required for operation of the leavelens.com.au service.

    2. Personal information is stored and used exclusively for the service offered by leavelens.com.au and is not sold, repurposed or reused to any other party.

    3. Personal information logged for telemetry, security, and audit purposes is stored securely and utilised exclusively for performance monitoring, security investigations, or compliance with law enforcement requests.

    4. No marketing or account correspondance will occur with any party other than the account holder of the leavelens.com.au service.

    5. All provided personal information uploaded by the account holder or nominated administrators will not be used for any communications unless explicity enabled for account holder communication using leavelens.com.au services.

  5. Access and correction

    Australian Privacy Principle 12 permits you to obtain access to the personal information we hold about you in certain circumstances, and Australian Privacy Principle 13 allows you to correct inaccurate personal information subject to certain exceptions. All complaints will be considered by "Vman Software" and we may seek further information from you to clarify your concerns. If we agree that your complaint is well founded, we will, in consultation with you, take appropriate steps to rectify the problem. If you remain dissatisfied with the outcome, you may refer the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

  7. Overseas transfer

    Your personal information is not transferrable to any third party or overseas recipients.
